The Chicago Monopole was one of 36 raw land builds that Electric Conduit Construction completed during the 2014 construction season. The 150' monopole was tightly scheduled and had to be completed in just 35 days. That included the Pad and Pier foundation which had to cure before the load of the monopole was mounted to it. Electric Conduit Construction met our customer's expectations, completing everything from civil to the aerial work entirely with ECC in-house personnel. The project was brought in on time with no injuries or safety issues of any kind. The commissioning phase was uneventful, all connections were correct and the radios worked on start up.
